"Of all the builders using the MB47 and MB74 receivers, Meridian Defense has probably built the most - and they build some absolutely bad ass AKs.  The "Volk" is their rifle model and the "Little Dirty" is their pistol offering - both built off the MB47.  I started working with Meridian early on in the MB47s life cycle, back in 2015.  They provided some valuable input in our development phase with the goal of helping us make sure this receiver was the finest milled receiver available. Meridian also has an inhouse machine shop - they are making their own sight tower/gas blocks, muzzle brakes and flash hiders. I know everyone on their team and recommend them highly.  I have a number of Aks built by Meridian, including the Volk in 7.62x39 and a Little Dirty built off our MB74 in 5.45x39.  Honest to god, that Little Dirty is my favorite gun in the collection.  It's definitely my SHTF gun too!" - JSharps
