Great design and first grade machine work. Much like what one will find on top quality 1911 pistols made in this part of the country. The best materials. Obviously built to perform and last many years . Was so impressed the larger version has been ordered. The ultimate compliment. Good job Sharps Brothers!
Purchased the 2.75” at Blade HQ. Came nicely boxed w/awesome stickers similar to other Sharps products. First, it’s lightweight for its size. I would say that it is thick, but its narrowness makes up for it. The deep carry clip is a great feature out of the box. So, because of the clip and narrowness it doesn’t interfere with getting your hand in & out of your pocket. The scales are great. Not too aggressive, but enough to keep your hands from slipping. The shape is pretty good and feels natural in the hand. The flipper is also great. After a few flips, it broke in nicely and is very smooth and easy to manipulate. The flipper also makes a nice finger guard when open to prevent your finger from slipping onto the blade. The blade is made of the fantastic Magnacut steel, which has lived up to the hype so far. Holds a great edge and not gotten a spec of rust after opening fertilizer bags and chemical bottles. The jimping on the back of the blade is large and provides good traction and control. My only improvement would be to make the scales thinner with a thinner, more “slicey” blade. These are just my personal preferences. This is a fantastic knife with superb construction. I think you get a lot of great features with this knife which makes it a great value at the price.
