CPM MagnaCut stainless steel. 2.75" blade

Full titanium frame lock scales & deep carry titanium clip.

Meanstreak is Sharps Bros’ first folding knife, keeping true to our credo with exceptional product design and craftsmanship. Meanstreak features a low-profile, sleek design, with a focus on everyday carry — bolstered by the very best materials that ensure years of trustworthy performance.

Our blade design is constructed of CPM MagnaCut, a unique powder metallurgy stainless tool steel that provides an unparalleled combination of toughness and wear resistance. CPM MagnaCut is possibly the finest knife steel ever made, with a combination of properties that boost overall toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance.

Meanstreak’s blade is deployed quickly and smoothly around a custom-designed pivot and a stainless steel caged bearing and race washer system. This robust interior leads to frictionless, fluid blade movement within a stylish housing.

Meanstreak’s titanium handles are extremely lightweight and durable, with a cross-hatch texture for grip. A titanium pocket clip provides low-profile, secure carry that can be moved to either side (or removed altogether).

CPM MagnaCut is the latest in American-made wear-resistant and premium particle metallurgy stainless tool steel for knives. Magnacut is an extremely tough stainless steel with excellent edge retention properties and outstanding corrosion resistance - which is why chose MagnaCut for our Meanstreak series of folders. More details on toughness, edge retention and corrosion resistance included below:
CPM Magnacut steel toughness is better than most other steels on the market, its toughness is on par with CPM 4V. Very few steels can beat MagnaCut toughness, including 3V, CPM CruWear, AEB-L, 14C28N, LC200N and 420HC.
Edge Retention

Due to the high hardness of the MagnaCut, the edge retention is excellent. According to industry standardized CATRA edge retention testing, Magnacut holds an edge in the range between S35VN and S45VN steels. MagnaCut easily bests those two types of steel in toughness and corrosion resistance.
Corrosion Resistance

A major benefit with Magnacut is its extreme corrosion resistance.  It may well be the highest performing stainless steel on the knife market. It performs very well in wet, humid, or coastal environments.

2.75 Meanstreak folding knife

Great design and first grade machine work. Much like what one will find on top quality 1911 pistols made in this part of the country. The best materials. Obviously built to perform and last many years . Was so impressed the larger version has been ordered. The ultimate compliment. Good job Sharps Brothers!

Fantastic entry into the knife market

Purchased the 2.75” at Blade HQ. Came nicely boxed w/awesome stickers similar to other Sharps products. First, it’s lightweight for its size. I would say that it is thick, but its narrowness makes up for it. The deep carry clip is a great feature out of the box. So, because of the clip and narrowness it doesn’t interfere with getting your hand in & out of your pocket. The scales are great. Not too aggressive, but enough to keep your hands from slipping. The shape is pretty good and feels natural in the hand. The flipper is also great. After a few flips, it broke in nicely and is very smooth and easy to manipulate. The flipper also makes a nice finger guard when open to prevent your finger from slipping onto the blade. The blade is made of the fantastic Magnacut steel, which has lived up to the hype so far. Holds a great edge and not gotten a spec of rust after opening fertilizer bags and chemical bottles. The jimping on the back of the blade is large and provides good traction and control. My only improvement would be to make the scales thinner with a thinner, more “slicey” blade. These are just my personal preferences. This is a fantastic knife with superb construction. I think you get a lot of great features with this knife which makes it a great value at the price.
