Suggested Stock Assembly Parts for Heatseeker
I am often asked for stock recommendations from people planning or building their Heatseeker rifle.
Here is what I use on 100% of my Heatseeker builds:
Carbine buffer tube: AR-STONER Receiver Extension Buffer Tube 6-Position Mil-Spec Diameter (midwayusa.com)
Minimalist stock (only weighs 7 ounces): Mission First Tactical Battlelink Minimalist Collapsible Stock AR-15 (midwayusa.com)
then on top of the stock I add one of these 1/8" pads: Cheek Pad, Mission First Tactical Battlink Series Utility and Minimalist Stock (convergentdesignsolutions.com)
I find with medium height scope rings that is all the cheek rise I need. If you find you need a little more you could get the 1/4" pad instead of the 1/8".
