The Meanstreak Boat/Rescue Knife.  This compact design is an excellent knife for boating, diving and rescue.  The knife and its low-profile sheath pair nicely with your PFD so it's immediately available when you need it, and out of the way when you don't.  It features extremely effective serrations on one side, a sharp edge on the other side, flattened scallop cuts on both sides so your index finger can ride high and a blunt safety tip.

Keeping true to our credo with exceptional product design and craftsmanship. Meanstreak features a low-profile, sleek design, with a focus on everyday use — bolstered by the very best materials that ensure years of trustworthy performance.

The blade is constructed of VG10 stainless steel. VG10 is renowned for its exceptional edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. With its high carbon content and added elements like vanadium and cobalt, VG10 steel offers a perfect balance of hardness and toughness, making it a preferred choice for an outdoor blade.  Its ability to maintain a razor-sharp edge through prolonged use makes it a favorite among people who demand precision and reliability in their cutting tool.

Like the rest of Sharps Bros knives, Meanstreak is fitted with Titanium scales. Titanium offers a blend of lightweight durability and sleek aesthetics. Titanium's inherent strength, corrosion resistance, and style make it a favored choice in all of our knife designs.

Meanstreak River/Rescue Knife

Great Knife. I was fortunate enough to get a prototype in early in May. And have been using attached to my
PFD (personal floatation devices) all summer. The sheath design fits snuggly into manufacturers receivers on most PFD’s. The angle on the sheath forces the handle into the PFD and keeps it out of your way.
A rescue knife never comes out unless it’s needed in a rescue situation. But I wanted to test how this knife cuts. I tried it on 1/2” and 1” wet tubular webbing, cut through like spaghetti. Next on wet rope, 11mm throw bag static line. Then some 10mm Perlon. Finished 1/2” braided rope. Cut through easily with one upward motion using the serrated edge. The knife feels good in my hand and I like the weight. As with all rescue knives you want to practice your draw. This knife is sharp and a correct draw will keep you from getting cut.
I’ve used many knives over my 50 + years of rafting and I highly recommend this knife.
