Anyone else experience this? G2 wiggle...
Ordered the G2 grip and it would not snug down tight (had about 1mm front to back wiggle in the grip with the bolt snugged down TIGHT). Advised John and he had me send the grip back. John told me the grip locked down on his frame and sent he me another grip (same issue). I may be the lucky guy to have the only frame out there that's out of spec, but I had to use a filler (Talon Rubberized Grip Tape) between the top of the grip and rear of the frame to get it to lock down without movement. My factory G2 stock fit is rock solid. Curious if anyone else has experienced T/C G2 frame variances as I can't find any reviews of this G2 grip online (only the G1/SSK)? Aside front that, the concept is excellent and if the grip was a little longer for XL hands, better contoured at the tang and had solid sides (or at least, ribbed supports), it would be a stand-out rock star in the aftermarket contender world. Nothing would come close. I look forward to seeing if an updated version of this grip is released in the future, I'll be the first in line.
