Very Nice Set Screw

This stainless steel bolt catch screw is the same length as the OEM black oxide piece but was five thou. larger in dia. at the smooth unthreaded section. The very nice feature of these is the threaded portion is twice the length of the OEM set screw that came with another manufacturers billlet Lower. The longer threaded section allows for full engagement with the threads in the lower. Also, zero rust vs the OEM black oxide screw despite always keeping a layer of oil on the threads.

Only way these could be better would be if the smooth section dia. just after the threads was ten-fifteen thou. larger to take even more slop out of the bolt catch, while being stepped down to the standard dia. to fit the relief cut in the receiver that captures the tip of the set screw.
